Melling has re-engineered the traditional small block Chevy oil pump with newly designed asymmetrical helical cut gears. Set to debut at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Indianapolis, the "Shark" pump offers smoother oil flow than a traditional spur gear oil pump along with reduced power requirements and higher volume.
