Holley Releases 1050 CFM Gen 3 Marine Dominator Carbs

Holley/MSD is pleased to announce the release of Holley 1050 CFM Gen 3 Marine Dominator Carburetors, which exceed performance demands whether you're out for high-speed fun or just hitting the lake for an easy cruise. All-aluminum and hard-coat anodized in a gray finish to protect against corrosion in both freshwater and saltwater conditions, they feature a patent-pending Gen 3 main body that's 5/16-inch taller than previous models. This creates large-radius air entries, which are optimized by Computational Fluid Dynamics software to deliver smoother flow into fully machined big-bore venturi.

The main body features an integrated idle-bypass valve that allows for easy idle adjustments while maintaining the correct throttle-plate/transfer-slot relationship and an extended air-cleaner flange for easy air-scoop attachment when using the available air-scoop adapter. This all-new design uses high-capacity fuel bowls with 20 percent more capacity to eliminate starvation, an integrated fuel shelf to minimize fuel aeration, and internal baffling to control fuel slosh. Holley 1050 CFM Gen 3 Marine Dominator Carburetors come complete with 12-hole billet booster inserts, fully tunable billet metering blocks, an adjustable external linkage, throttle-position-sensor mounting points, and hand-adjustable knurled curb idle screws for hassle-free adjustment. Each calibration is fully dyno tested for proven performance.
The patent pending GEN 3 main–body is 5/16” taller than the previous generation!
