JEGS adjustable billet fuel log provides an effective fueling solution for single four barrel carburetor applications. It fits all center-to-center combinations of Holley 4150 and 4500 style dual feed four barrel carburetors and the adjustable length feature also offers increased fuel capacity in the direct vicinity of both float bowls via the 1-inch diameter fuel log. This provides an immediate reserve of pressurized fuel to draw from under high load conditions.  The CNC machined billet fuel log is clear anodized with four leak-free internal O-ring seals. Designed for race applications it comes with a choice or either -06 or -08 inlet and outlet threads, carb fittings, and a 1/8-NPT fuel pressure port and plug. Users can configure it with -06, -08 or -10 fittings to match their fuel lines. The fuel log can also be used as a return style log by adding a second fitting for the return line.

In testing the JEGS adjustable billet fuel log was trouble free, sliding easily to the desired position to fit our Holley Ultra HP Dominator. The multiple seals delivered leak free operation and all threaded fittings mated smoothly.  We used the extra rear port reserved for a return line to attach a direct line to a rear mounted fuel pressure gauge.  This solution also eliminated the use of dual braided steel fuel lines lying on top of hot intake runners. The rigid mount prevents direct contact with hot engine components and helps keep the fuel supply line cooler as well.  And the attractive anodized finish perfectly complements the Holley’s aluminum construction, providing a fashionable and fully functional fuel distribution solution on our big block test engine.
